Be The Flame

  • My Style

Do you like ornamental jewellery inspired by architecture and cultural imagery? My interest in cultures reflects in my designs, jewellery is all about experience.

Follow my blog which documents my journeys such as day trips to cities, Hindu temple, Jewellery shops and Galleries.

-I Continue to improve my skills and hone in on my style everyday by focusing on ornament, meaning, nature and culture. I abstract these designs in order to make a practical piece of jewellery.

  • My Favourite Techniques

There is something very satisfying about setting a gemstone using stone setting techniques. Creating a setting that shows off the stone and reflecting colours enhances a piece.

    - I really enjoy making unique one of a kind designs by sawing and layering silver using soldering techniques and riveting with tube to create a more fluid design.

-My tools and methods relate to how the Egyptians made jewellery, using tools such as burnishing and other traditional techniques like casting.
