Egyptian Project

The idea of “lost and found” has always intrigued me, many archaeological finds were re-surfaced in Chile and Egypt as well as new tombs being discovered. Hieroglyphs is especially interesting, knowing many languages originated from this unique way of communication.

I have looked into the meaning of symbols in both Indian and African cultures, the meaning is often described through nature and animal symbols. Egypt in particular worship animals such as cats and birds, and would mummify them to live for eternity this is what they believed. Though morbid the subject and religion of the afterlife is profoundly important to many cultures.

My first interest in Egyptian culture came from the book I found at the library and the re-occurring feed of articles about the archaeological finds which were recent. The context came from the World museum and I visited the gallery over six times as I enjoyed the subject that much!
